Colour In The Cold

Here is another photo from the roller coaster the other day. It was a grey day and these lights, even though they were off, provided a splash of colour. I spent a fair amount of time debating on whether or not I wanted to use them in any pictures. At first I kept thinking they look like cheap plastic and wondered if I really would want pictures of that. As I took photos of the structure, the rails and nuts and bolts etc I seemed to start including the lights more and more. They still looked like cheap plastic but I liked the cheap plastic more and more. When I took this picture I think I realized why.

I took this using the beercan set to 180mm  1/50sec f4 iso 200.
