The Moon From Here

My big plans of pulling out the camera today didn't pan out. Life still seems to get in the way. I did however find this little gem. I remember  walking along a dirt road in the Okanagan when I happened to look up and spotted the moon through the branches. I took a few shots and carried on. When I see the picture that small moment always stands out. Since then I quite often would stop to look at it if I happened across it. I was never quite sure about it but today I decided I should bring it out and see what I could do.

Shot at 1/250th sec f5.6 and the lens set at 400mm. The iso was 100. I cropped the image somewhat and did some work to sharpen the moon without affecting the softness of the branches.
