Long Tall Light

Apparently, I was in Grizzly country. Never come across one of those Kodiak lookin' fellas and I didn't think in this dense underbrush where every thing was brown would be the most opportune place to meet one for the first time. I reassured myself for a moment thinking those bruisers are so big there's lots of crashing and breaking of branches that I would hear a long way off. That was when I remembered the rushing river was so loud I couldn't hear the beep of my car locking from 5 feet away. I locked the car in the middle of the forest because, you know one of those clever bears might sneak in the car and lie in wait for me. Or a moose. I somehow managed to get the camera on the tripod and set up without dropping it in the river which seemed to be  constantly rising. I got this with a neutral density filter on and and exposure of 30 seconds at f22.
I did manage to see a little wild life while I was out. A deer and two police cars.
