Some Light Swimming

I think if Shilpa could spend all day, every day in the water, she would.

Summer Light

I may have used that title before. That's ok, it is the season almost. You should see more outside photos like this of Shilpa from me.

Ancient Light

The face appears ancient but isn't. The camera that took the photo is very old, but not ancient. It's the photographer.

Cherry Blossoms in the Light

Cherry Blossoms in Vancouver. You either love them or, don't. I had never gone out and photographed cherry blossoms thinking, "I'll do it next year, maybe." Shilpa and I decided this was the year.

New Year, New Light

What better way to start the new year with a blog post. We took this a while back and I thought it was time to post it. We thought we'd try some straight up window light and it worked out quite well. Can't wait for the next project to put up here.

Found Still Life

Or, another little lost shoe. Some time ago, someone painted the lamp standard. More recently a young child lost their shoe, which just happened to be the same colour as the lamp standard. A short time later someone put the shoe up on the pole, probably with the slight hope the child would come back to find it. This is how I found it.

Happy Birthday, Shilpa! Of course, it being an auspicious occasion we had to do a quick photo shoot.

Monday's Light

Today being Monday, Shilpa and I decided we needed to do a photo-shoot. We had the run of the house today so made use  of some different rooms. What a great afternoon!

Analogue Light

Finally developed some film. It felt like it was going to be complicated but in the end it was pretty simple. I have lot's of photos of Shilpa and some photos around the yard. Next I break out the big film cameras!
